[Ladies-Eight]

The garden is in!!! Time for a break and then tackle the deck. I'm ready to open it for spring and bring all the plants out of the greenhouse.

We planted tomatoes, strawberries, onions, butternut squash, zucchini, cantaloupe, snap beans, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, mint and sage. The elderberry is in its first year of growth, so that one is fun to watch.

I don't grow a lot of herbs here. They don't really like the cooler temps, but I think mint and sage are pretty hearty. I do keep a rosemary bush on the deck. It smells so good. that will come out of the greenhouse today too.

My garden is in raised beds so that does help a lot.

I'll make some herbal tea. Cap, love your fence. Those tree stumps are huge!

Yes, we had some very large tulip trees. They were always dropping limbs.
Hubby did a good job on that fence.

I planted peas and more oats for the goats today. Also put 12 dianthus in the flower garden. Planted more beans.
Have been hatching chicks.

Good morning everyone! Coffee is ready.

The deck plants are out of the greenhouse and onto the deck. So nice to have that greenery back. The hummingbirds have been taking a peek at them, but no flowers yet.
