I'm taking my parents out for lunch today and then I'm going to get a second brooder ready for my next hatch! So grateful for the beautiful sunny day we're having right now! I have lots of things to get in order but I just want to sit in the sun and soak it up, lol.

Great news this morning! Queenie, (since we've been spending so much "quality" time together, I've taken to calling Queen Victoria "Queenie"), has turned a corner! She is alert, eating and drinking on her own, and back to complaining when I pick her up. And she stopped panting!!! No doubt she'll make it now and 3 days ago I didn't think she'd make it through the night!!!

And no, Penny Jo, I didn't stop checking in on her every half hour to hour. It was too scary and she was too sick. Definitely able to slow it down today!!!

Have fun with your parents today! What are you going to hatch?

I have Olive Eggers due to hatch on Thursday, Sebastopol goslings, Marans, and Silkies due on the 23rd, and some mix goslings due on 4/3! I'll be setting Silkied Cochins for the Easter hatch-a-long on the 21st as well. It's going to be a busy month for my incubators!

I will definitely share pictures! Most of them already have homes lined up and waiting for them. I have a waiting list and I'm hoping I have enough chicks to satisfy it. lol, I often find myself selling the chicks I wanted to keep and I just tell myself I can always hatch more...but it happens every time.

It's nice you're able to find homes for them (and then you get the fun of hatching again)
