Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

It's hard to say what the difference is. Maybe it's because I use preventative treatments on my animals, but we do a lot of gardening and never find one on us either. And we have a lot of deer.

Super interesting, Val! We get them on our animals but not often. I've never used preventative treatments before but we might have to this year living closer to the mountain and having a bunch of bushes in our yard.

I have actually bought tiny cedar blocks (1/2" x 1/2") to put in my sweater drawer as a sachet and natural repellent to moths. But, I did that on recommendation, not because I ever had moths in my sweaters.

I do a lot of things to prevent problems I don't have. How do I know they work?

Great article. I'm going to have to try the cedar oil this summer, especially with the mosquitoes.
I'm going to try it too. We are right on a river, so there are a couple months of mosquitoes here and I guarantee the trees don't stop them. They fly right through to get to us. :lau

Ugh, mosquitoes and ticks are the worst!! Wouldn't that be nice if the tress blocked them?

We get an unhealthy amount of mosquitoes swarming us when irrigating the hay fields during the summer. :smack

That would be terrible! I've thought about ordering the Avon product too. Really mosquitoes are the only real bug problem we have. They can make it impossible to enjoy sitting on the deck on the warmest days of the year. If there's a breeze it's fine, but look out for those still, warm days. Obviously we can spray ourselves with Off! which is mostly chemical and it works, but then I have to come in and shower it off. I hate that stuff. Even the organic version. I'm trying this one this year.
