Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Good morning everybody! Thanks for the coffee Chickie!

So far I have planted 6 blue hostas, 12 peonies and 6 dahlias. I have two more selections of dahlias to plant. Then I'll put some fresh top soil/bark over it all and hope for the best.

Rei, I bought them all at Home Depot this year. Last year I went to the local Holland America nursery for my bulbs, but those were lilies and tulips. I had to pull up all the lilies when I found out they are toxic to my kitties. I have also ordered bulbs and seeds online before. There are several good large suppliers, such as Dutch Bulbs and I think Holland America too.

I did buy a few herbs too, but they are in pots. I'm not doing a veggie garden this year at all, but I have a local source for veggies straight from the farms of Yakima. I'm concentrating on all the flower gardens. Every year I get closer to established perennial garden beds, so that one day all I will have to do is deal with the weeds and never plant again. :D Next year I'll be back into veggie gardens.

Your flower beds are going to be beautiful Val...hope you'll share pictures of them blooming at some point!

There's a fresh pot of coffee, tea and cupcakes for anyone that wants an afternoon boost!

Thanks. I hope that will be this summer. Last time I planted peonies, they didn't come up until the following season.

I usually buy from Hone Depot, but looked the other way and couldn't find any! I'll have to keep searching. I honestly haven't looked extremely hard as we have been getting into low 30s, high 20s at night the past few days 😔
