Thanks for the coffee, Debby! extra good this morning...cool and raining here. Thunder woke me up @ 1:30am, then again @ 3:30am. So just decided to get up, check on the little ones in the brooders.

They are doing great...except one...'failure to thrive', just wasn't eating.

Good morning all. Woke up to a incy full of fuzz balls this morning. I couldn't quite get a count because they wouldn't sit still but I would guess at least 25. That's out of 37 and today is only day 20. Will get pics this afternoon when I move them to the brooder.

I probably will have to sell some after I see which ones I want to keep. Most likely 50% will be roos and I don't really need anymore of those. But I have to admit it is just so hard getting rid of any. Chicken math has really got me this year.

How many chickens do you have altogether? You must have a big operation going there. Do you sell the eggs?
