Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

They do it every now and then his brother was raised by their Mother She taught him
the world owes him a living never driven depended on her his Dad and his brother ..
No love lost there ... He is married so not alone she is about as bad his him...
So that is the dirty laundry here

That sort of behavior seems to come up in just about every family. The son that lives with you seems to be a good guy.

I love lilies too! And they go so well with Hostas. Year before last fall I planted a couple hundred lilies in the flower beds around my house, along with some hostas, tulips and irises. When they came in bloom they were gorgeous. My whole house was lined with lilies behind these other plants and flowers. Then someone said lilies are poisonous to cats, so I did a little research. Seem the stamen is especially toxic, so I went out to take a look.

There under one of my lilies, was one of my cats, enjoying the shade and surrounded by the fallen stamen dust! I had a doctor's appt at 9am, so I hurriedly took some clippers and deadheaded every single lily, more than I could count that quickly, and buried them in the mulch pile. I was in such a hurry that I showed up to the doctor in my garden clogs. :lau So, last fall I dug them all up and gave them to a neighbor. This spring I've been digging up volunteers as they come up. Good grief!!! Now I have added dahlias and peonies to my garden in their stead. Someone please don't tell me they are also poisonous to my cats. 😳
Ok, I won't tell you.

Sorry Penny. That must be hard for you to watch. Your son will have to decide for himself how to go forward in that relationship, but I'm sure you'd love to go in and fix it. It's hard to see even our adult children in pain. :hugs

He loves his brother but is aware of the flaws.. The one here was raised by his Dad with empathy, love and compasion as his Dad and I have we do tolerate the others from time to time just say dutch treat first or they want us to pay ...:gigI am understanding how James is he knows we love him :frow

Tomorrow I begin to heal!!! So thankful for great doctors and surgeons!!!

Praying for you everyday, Val! Sounds like you have a great team over there. Sending prayers for your surgery tomorrow. You have a great mindset!
