Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Good morning everyone! I get up so much later than you all that I needed a fresh pot of coffee. It's ready for anyone who wants a second, third or fourth cup. :D

Not really, I found out I have Scleroderma and Reynaud's syndrome. And a bad ear infection.
But the good news is, the goats come home tomorrow! View attachment 2232630
Wow, Cap. That is a tough diagnosis! I hope you will keep us updated when you see the rheumatologist. And I really hope it is a mild case!!! I know a little about it because I had a friend with scleroderma, but not enough. Is it a progressive disease? I had to look up Renaud's. That doesn't sound like fun either. So do you just have numb fingers and toes all the time? I sure hope they can find a good treatment for you. :hugs
Valerie, so sorry you have to endure all that. But at least they discovered it in time to do something about it. My Aunt Lily was opened up and had so much cancer that they just sewed her back up. She died soon after that. Refused to have a colonoscopy, or go for treatment until it was too late.
Over the last couple years I've had every kind of colonoscopy and endoscopy there is, most of them multiple times. They were sure my problem was taking too many NSAIDS and causing bleeding in my GI tract. It wasn't until I was at OHSU that they even looked beyond that. The funny thing is, NSAIDs became part of the pain control after surgery. lol I guess that's why they call it "practicing" medicine. But I'll tell you what, at OHSU, they are thorough. It doesn't feel like they are practicing at all. :D Getting the right doctors makes all the difference.
You guys will get tired of photos!!!🥰
Never! And goats? OMG. I can't wait! I think I should have goats.
:hmm

LOL!!! So, why don't you want them again??? DH wont let me have anymore "livestock" pets. Chickens are his limit. :lau I really want a cow!

We had goats when we had our little farm in Florida. I enjoyed them, but they were a lot of work...talk about escape artists, we spent a ton of time working to keep them contained. They are experts at finding any weak spot, whether that means going under, over or through fencing. Then there was the male, I loved that shy guy until the girls would go into heat. Then he was a raging maniac (and stunk to high heaven).

Right now we live on company property, I'm already pushing it with having 5 chickens. And this fall when I plan to move I'll be in town (but up to 6 chickens are allowed :celebrate).

Alrighty then. Talked me right out of that. I barely have enough energy for the chickens right now. :lau

I think you are going to love your new place! I can't wait until you move. When will that be?

I'm hoping to move in September or October...definitely before the snow flies again! My oldest son said he would come out to help (plus he wants to see the house) so the schedule will depend on him too. And if traveling is ok then with the virus situation as he'll be coming from Kansas.

Some people are traveling now. It might actually be safer to fly now than it was before the virus hit. They are definitely going the extra mile to keep things sanitized and safe. They never did that before. That being said, is driving a possibility for him?

Excited for your move! Keep us posted. :D
