Glad your arm isn't sore from the vaccination!

I got mine last year and didn't really feel sore from it either. Even if it had been sore, that couldn't be as bad as getting shingles!
 
This new Shingles is dead not a live vaccine anymore but get first have to go in like 2 weeks for the 2nd did not ask yet if it is yearly ... I know at least a year ago looked into getting them but they said could not say they would have any for number 2 as the booster
 
I just looked up the shingles vaccine and it said they are good for 4 years, 85% protection. It also said it was a live vaccination. I'll ask the doc about it when I go in for wellness check in October. I'm pretty careful what meds, shots, vaccines I get now.

I have a blister on my cheek now. Guess I haven't been consistent enough with wearing hats when outside. Have to do it even when the sun isn't beating down I guess.

I know last year the vaccine was hard to get because supplies were so low. I was on a waiting list for several months to get the first one, the second one there wasn't any problem getting it.

They told me I have to wear hats all the time now. I'm also supposed to wear long sleeves and pants. Yes, the sun will apparently give me rashes now because of this medication. I try to wear a hat all the time, but it's too hot for long sleeves and pants!!! So far I've just gotten this little patch on my cheek, so not too bad. :fl

Cover yourself up lady! Maybe cotton clothes wouldn't be too bad? Or maybe just easier to stay inside when the sun is beating down.
