Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

I'm like you Valerie, love being out here on my little patch of God's green earth.. rarely go to town 10 miles away.. Rather reclusive I be. At least it's a small town and no long lines to deal with.
Good morning!

Small town here too, pop 760 at last count. But, I do have to go to bigger towns for shopping if I want decent veggies and milk that's not at the end of its shelf life. :gig

I actually have to drive into Portland today for a doctor appt. :oops: Yep, just a few blocks away from the riots.

Well, let's have coffee and not think of that right now. :caf

I live in a subdivision and I'm reclusive. I see neighbors passing by on the road. I don't go visiting.

coffee is good! our town has 1 grocery store, no mall, but has a new Dollar General!!
We have an IGA, which is a chain of small grocers. We have a gallery of local artists and several small restaurants and fast food places. Oh and in the summer, we have a farmers market for a couple hours on Thursdays. LOL We be small. Our house is about 10 miles outside of that town and then it's another 20 or 30 miles to a town with a proper grocery. And that's just how we like it. Quiet and secluded, for our retirement years. :D

Red Level has a DG, River Falls, next place over has two gasmoline stations, then Andalusia has a Walmart, and several other grocery stores. Pennys is closing down, so not much choice here. There is a beautiful little town square in Andalusia. And there are several lumber/hardware stores plus a TSC.

@Shadrach
Good to hear from you. How is the wood working going?
Hello @Ladies-Eight :)
It was going quite well but unfortunately I just don't have time to do much atm.
I'm busy dealing with bureaucracy, trying to get all the necessary documents together that are required by British Nationals to stay in Spain after Brexit.
The problem is so many of the departments were, or are either shut or short staffed due to the Covid crisis at a time when there is an enormous demand for the services.
It's a complete mess.:he
