I'll be doing that soon. We have 2 roosters and 3 cockerels. Tough decision coming. I set up a bachelor pad, but I have one cockerel who will kill any other cockerel in his pen, and he has injured one of my hens pretty badly and yanked a bunch of feathers out of two others. He is making my choice a little easier, but I hate this part of chicken husbandry.

We Texans actually had some snow for New Years. I had about 4 inches. Fortunately I didn't have to get out in it.
