I lost Chasers Mother at 4 she had the first litter Chase was from that.. two years later bred her again.. She passed in her sleep one week before they would welp Ch. Co-Ra-Lane's Maline Voyou CD CDX OTCH herd instinct tested. She was my soul mate always will be
😢 That's so sad. You lost your girl AND the litter? Heartbreaking!!

2 dogs 1 bitch , 1 dog

Lost them she was his Mother .. She was 18 he was 17 when I lost them I still cry

I get it. Has to be close to 50 years ago that Rhon my GSD died of torsion of the stomach. One of the finest living beings I have ever known. If I go back to that memory it brings tears to my eyes. With his death I vowed to never again have a GSD.

Sour.....I understand....GSDs get right into your heart and never leave. They are prone to torsion and it's devastating because it hits without warning. GSDs are genuinely unique......they are my favorite breed. I've had three of them two rescues and my most recent who passed last year at 13.5. I can't speak about her without tears....and some days I miss her so much! I felt safe...she always marched around the entire house after the lights were off and everyone was in bed, making sure all was well. I'd lay there and listen to her doing that and fall asleep knowing she was on duty. All she ever cared about was me.....as long as she could be with me she was content. They are wonderful dogs.... I feel privileged to have had mine.

I can't wait until my cockerels are integrated and I get a broody little hen! (I know this is random :D ) I was just going through photos looking for good ones of my Hviti, a kitty, who follows me everywhere like a puppy dog when I'm doing my chores. Instead of finding a great photo of him, I found a video of Shirley when she had her little chicks. She had her own little brooding hutch for them. So cute. Here it is on YouTube.
