Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

It's on John's Island, outside of Charleston. They estimate it to be around 500 years old, over 60' tall and covers over 17,000sf. The pictures just don't do it justice! The last time I remembered feeling that in awe over a tree was when I went to the Red Wood forest in California. For me it was one of those moments I really wish I could have asked a tree questions, lol. I can only image what it has seen in all that time!

You can ask it questions, but it would be slow to answer!

Good morning everybody! new pot of coffee is on! Help yourself!

I was able to get everyone in to their new coops last night except one. She slipped past me into her old one. Oh well, everyone went to bed, and I can get her back with the right flock today. Day one went pretty well. Pippi and Mad Hatter have been quite the gentlemen so far.

Unless I have something I need to be up for, I'm an up with the sun kind of person. No matter the time. I'm solar powered. lol
