Is this Oak Tree a species of the Live Oaks.

This is gorgeous. Where is it located in South Carolina. I use to live there and have never heard of it.

It's on John's Island, outside of Charleston. They estimate it to be around 500 years old, over 60' tall and covers over 17,000sf. The pictures just don't do it justice! The last time I remembered feeling that in awe over a tree was when I went to the Red Wood forest in California. For me it was one of those moments I really wish I could have asked a tree questions, lol. I can only image what it has seen in all that time!
