Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

I'm going to try to get a couple photos. Hard to take them in the little A-Frame she is in. It's raining, so I can't open the top, which is how I normally clean, etc.

Can't wait for the new coop to be ready!!! Next time she is broody she'll have a much better home for it! I think I'll have the coop portion ready this afternoon, except for painting, which won't prohibit moving in. Of course I will not move Surly and babies for a while.

That sounds a lot like the one I have. I can also dehydrate in it, and I would guess you can too.

This is very good news! I'm sure he will be so happy to be in his own home again. And we are here for you whenever you need a break from care giving, to cheer you up with some coffee or tea!

But, I know what you mean about all the cooking. I'm still trying to figure out how to use leftovers of one meal in the next without it tasting like an immediate repeat. I used to freeze all leftovers in individual lunch servings, but it's getting to the point that I have more lunches than we can eat in a reasonable time. :lol: I used to use them as "TV dinners" when DH traveled, but I can hardly expect him to do that.

We can help each other with ideas for this!! :highfive:

That sounds like a plan!!!

It's 87 degrees, sunny, some wind, and no precipitation.

I believe summer has started and that will mean hot days for a long while.

That's when my chickens get frozen watermelon. They love it.

I was talking with his niece and she uses a muffin tin to freeze whole kernel corn in water.

Those are both good ideas. Mine get melons in summer, but not frozen. We probably don't need to do that since it's rarely oppressively hot.

@drumstick diva,

I agree with you. Don't like snakes.
When I lived in FL , I never did see a rattlesnake, but I heard of a kid bitten by one that needed to be air flighted. I did see a coral snake and copperheads, which our Standard Poodle loved to kill.
