Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Lol, thanks everybody! Here's a little bit about my small flock if you're interested! I currently have three silver wyandottes and a Rhode Island Red Rooster. My roo, named Rockefeller (Rocky), is a gentle old fart, and just recently had his spurs removed. They were impeding his ability to walk. Midnight is the oldest hen and considers herself the boss hen of the coop. She's bold and is always the first one out of the coop, and the first one to get the snacks. Galaxy always sticks close to Midnight and is much more tentative, although she enjoys searching for bugs outside. Sweety was a rescue and although she is very shy, she loves sunning herself and foraging outdoors. She's often the last hen inside the coop.

Hello! This is my first time joining a chat like this so I’m a little nervous! Can’t wait to get to know you guys and your chickens! 😊
Welcome to the neighborhood! Don't be nervous, most of us don't bite. :lau

Hi folks!
I'm opening a new cafe on BYC Main Street! :ya 🍵 ☕ 🥯 🍳 This is a gathering place for folks to chat about chickens, ducks, animals or just a place to pop in for coffee and say hi!

A drama free zone, please! :D Great conversations begin with diversity of thought!

Anyone want to join me?

We're very happy to have you join us. Sean isn't too scary, but he will insist you make every day a great day, and that can be a bit scary.
Igor's Mistress is most likely a beautiful princess, but that photo (Avatar) is of Igor. He has never come in to the coffee shop, so I don't know if he is as scary as he looks. :lau

I might drive you crazy with my chicken ups and downs. But, I loved being introduced to yours and can never get too much of everyone's daily adventures with chickens...and other critters too!!

Come on Val...is it that bad asking everyone to 'make it a great day'? That's better than saying 'have a great day'....by saying 'make it a great day', I leave it in your hands to 'make' what of it which you choose, cuz your the only one who can make that decision. Have a great day is sooo passé. :) no offense and none taken.

I was joking!!!!! I absolutely LOVE that you say "make" it a great day!!! If that's the worst someone has to face in our coffee shop, then all is good!

You've inspired me to "make" it a great day every day!!!
