Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery, Val. Hopefully the days until you go home won't be too unbearable.

Good morning everybody! Thanks for checking in on me! You are all so sweet. And thanks for the chick pic, Chickie. A regular pin up chick. She does know how to pose.
Apparently I slept a lot in the evening, so I've been awake for a long time this morning already. Just now able to focus enough to write.
Surgery went well. They were able to remove the whole tumor. They had to remove a small section of the small intestine and a piece of the bladder too, where it was attached. I'll be here for 5-7 days, so I'll be needing you all and all of your wonderful pictures!! DH is still sending me pics of mine, and finally one of himself.
Lots of pain this morning, but that is just the disease leaving my body.![]()
@igorsMistress Angus reminds me of my Mad Hatter. They are just so full of themselves. DH says MH is getting along pretty well with everyone this week, so he is allowing them to free range together. By free range, I mean their 4000sf run with a hotwire around it and a bird net over the top. So that is nice for him, but keeps Pippi busy. Pippi doesnt' want him to mate with anyone so he just chases him away. It's al fun and games, but we have to watch for wounds.
That's great news! I hope your guys can work it out peacefully.@igorsMistress Angus reminds me of my Mad Hatter. They are just so full of themselves. Treatment depends on the type of cancer. There is a drug that helps with soft tissue sarcoma, which is not so harsh as chemotherapy. I'm hoping for that.@ValerieJ
Glad to hear you are doing quite well.
Glad the surgery was successful and they were able to get it the entire tumor out.
Have they talked about chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy?
Get home soon. I'm sure your flock misses you.

I think so. Pathology takes 5-7 days, and I'll be here about that long. I'm not giving it much thought. Right now getting through the pain, and that's a big enough job. Then we'll hope for the drug along with you Val. I suppose you'll know about the treatment before you leave the hospital?
