I can say that, but I'm in the high risk category for a recurrance, so 3 years of chemo to litigate that. I have great Docs watching it, so I'm not worried, just not past it yet. They will perform periodic CT Scans and keep a close eye on it. My neighbor had a similar situation, but the follow up wasn't great. She died last summer. I'm very thankful to be getting my care from OHSU. They saved my DH life 8 years ago, now they are saving mine.

My mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer. It's the most treatable kind and caught early; likely no chemo or radiation thank goodness! Doesn't really make me worry less but I'm hopeful it hasn't spread.

She has surgery Monday to remove it and a couple of lymph nodes to check for spread. She's handling it all really well though. Her surgeon is an awesome lady and she likes her oncologists.

She's a Dorking/Red Ranger mix. A guy here on BYC was trying a hybrid of those as a meat bird project and I got a few eggs to hatch. Her brother was a gorgeous guy with a huge breast but he got a tumor and I put him down.
