Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

You're a baker cheepteach, why not bake your own? It's kind of a long process (for me anyway) and my braiding isn't the best, but it is tasty.
I bake bread but always have to do double loaves---one to rip into during the day and one for dinner! the family has bread sonar! I like going to the bakery once in a while---can't make good bagels at home---they are ok, but not the same. And sometimes a Challah loaf jumps into the bag...

We love bagels, but haven't had a lot of luck making them. We don't have a good bakery around here, but once in a while store bought bagels happen.

I should add that this one is my favorite

Do you have the BYC cookbook Val?

I've used other recipes for this bread, but this time I'm using the one in the BYC book.
I do not have it. I should probably check it out.

If we had a great bakery here, I would be buying all my breads there. I totally get that.

And this is why we bake. There's nothing like the aroma of fresh baked bread in the house. Even so, I'm quite certain if I had a bakery like yours great breads would be jumping into my bag so often they'd change their names to jumping beans.
