Morning suppose to be 90 or higher today here Val has more forest so might be spared to just 90 :confused:
It's always 10 degrees cooler here than in town, or nearly so. And then it's even cooler where the chickens are because they are right at the edge of the forest.

That decision was so fortuitous. At the time we had no idea what a great idea it would be to put them there. We just thought, huh, need to fence in the orchard, why not put the coop in the same spot? And it grew from there. LOL

It's all one grand experiment after another here. :lau

We are going to be at 90+ all week with scattered thunderboomers... No sense in mopping the floor since the neighbor dogs will be tracking in mud. I'll get more done working on a new project outside than cleaning.

When I was stationed at Maxwell in Montgomery AL, I lived in Prattville.. a 20 minute drive but always 10 -15 degrees cooler there. More trees, less asphalt made all the difference.
