I can only wish. At 3 am , it still felt like 79° here. Can't do anything outside except sweat.

Yes, with no end in sight. Idk what people are going to do. We retired thinking we had enough money invested, but may have to go back to work.

That would be very difficult, indeed. I sure hope you will be alright. We've only lost about 10% of our investment, but that is a lot of money to lose. It's disturbing to watch it go like that.

I really don't know what people are going to do. We are fortunate because we have military retirement that pays the bills along with SS. I would be nervous if I were depending on our investments and then watching them shrink.

Then on top of that, everything costs more and now they are talking food shortages in the future. As for us, we have been acquiring survival food just in case. We have well over 6 months of it now. Maybe that won't be enough, but it's a start, and I feel like I'm doing something to prepare. Thanks to our chickens we will all have breakfast!

I would not be able to return to work.

I have retired my nursing license and would take a lot to make it current again.

Plus I'm 77 years of age.
