Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

I have a friend who is trying to hand her Dickens village down to her son, piece by piece. She wishes he would take all of it. We are trying to downsize at this stage of life. The only Christmas collection I have is a Christensen Nativity, which was sold as a limited edition and sold one piece per year. Took a long time to collect the whole set. Our kids will not realize how valuable it actually is. Just another nativity to them.

I agree that our children will never realize how valuable our collections are.

My daughter does not any of my things except for the elephant table from the Gold Coast of Africa carved from mahogany and inset with teak wood and ivory.

My father sent this back while he was serving in World War II.

I'm sure it is very expensive and I've never had it appraised.

Yet you always are doing way more than I seem to be able to. I'm guessing you are a lot younger than I am. lol You're either taking care of goats, cleaning coops, or some other farm job. I'm sorry you have some serious ailments to deal with , but I think you are doing great! :love

I agree with you.

I'm not able to do all that she does.

Good morning one and all!

Tea is ready.

63 cloudy 83% humidity feels like 65 rain 12%.

@ValerieJ @CapricornFarm @pennyJo1960 --- well I have you all beat as I'm 77 and will be 78 in 6 months and the old man is 76.

Getting old is not fun physically.

Hubby's surgery went good, although it took longer than expected.

Have a great day!

Well you have been through a lot in all those years! Bet you have some stories to tell. I am rooting for you to have mostly good days ahead!
