Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Oh gosh...I'm just now brewing the coffee and you have your chores done!!!

It is supposed to get up to 97 this afternoon. I have some watermelon for the chickens. Might bring out some frozen corn and put a couple ice cubes in their water. That will take care of them, but what about me??? I think I will melt.

It is 10 degrees cooler in the shade and the chicken run is all shaded. My deck is shaded too, but I might just stay in the house. Thank goodness for trees! But, even 87 sounds too hot for SW Washington weather.

Good morning. Coffee is brewed. I'm in a bit early this morning. Well, for me it's early. It's two or three hours later for you all. Isn't it nice to have a cafe we can meet in across the miles?

The heat should give us a break today. It got up over 100 yesterday! So hot! But they are calling for high 80s today. That's much more to my liking.

Good morning. A little coffee break sounds good. Enjoy your cool down. Looks like rain today. It's been raining all around us the last couple days. Hopefully we get some today. A little cooler here...high for today 86°
Good morning! Will you be affected by the hurricane that hit Texas?

We have been having thunder storms daily for the last 4 - 5 days in Northern Florida.

Not really. We are getting some rain off the gulf but no strong storms. I didn't realize Washington had temperatures that hot. Is that unusual?
Yes, definitely unusual. We often get a week or two of high 80s and possibly 90 but never 100, that is here in the SW area of WA. I think the East side gets drier and hotter weather than we do.

I'm not surprised. So has my friend in Georgia. Stay safe out there!!!! Will the hurricane affect you, aside from the current storms? My friend says in Georgia they commonly get these thunderstorms at this time of year.

P.S. I love a good thunderstorm. We used to get them in So California, but they are pretty mild here when they happen.
