Yesterday went out to see the chickens and I could not find 5 0f them.

I bought a shed to make into a new chicken coop and they liked to get under it.

This morning I went out to see the chickens and I am missing another chicken, that makes 6.

I have one RIR left and she is pitiful and staying hidden.

I have a feeling this is a hawk.

That's very sad. So sorry you have a predator after your chickens. Any chance of closing in the top? Putting bird netting over their outdoor area? We have had eagle attacks before, several years ago now. They are devastating, but they have always left remains. Do you have cougars? They will make off with the whole chicken.
