Lol! Nothing wrong with that! My DW and I hauled two loads of firewood already! Would have gotten three but have to wait until they process more logs! Now on to the chore of changing bedding in our run. I do it once a month. Have a good day!

We change the bedding in the coop once a month too. The sand gets cleaned every day. That's under the roosting bars. I do love a clean coop. I have no idea how bad it will get in there when we are gone for three days next week. These chickens have never had to stay inside their coop and enclosure for a whole day unless it was by their choice. They have a large secure area for free ranging. It's definitely a big enough coop for them, but they will certainly be made at us for being all cooped up for 3 days.

We change the bedding in the coop once a month too. The sand gets cleaned every day. That's under the roosting bars. I do love a clean coop. I use poop boards in the coop with pine shavings for bedding. I can get away with spring and fall changes. I do pick up stray poop in the coop lol In the run I pick it up several times a day if I am around which I usually am. Our birds seldom go in the coop during the day not counting laying eggs. In extreme cold I sometimes lock them in the coop. Then I have to change it again! One heck of a mess lol! You might have one on your hands after 3 days! Good luck!!
