Nope.
The minimum order size is there for the protection and well being of the chicks during shipping.
The smallest minimum order size I've seen offered is through Meyer Hatchery. For a specified part of the year, you can order as few as 3 chicks. But you will pay a premium for the shipping.

Are you asking about eggs, chicks, pullets, or adult birds?
Metzer will ship as few as 2 ducklings.
I have seen hatcheries that ship solo birds if they are older, but no singletons as day-olds.

My Pet Chicken and Meyers go as low as 3. I prefer Meyers... but MPC has a larger selection.

I'm looking for adult or pullet chickens. I live in Rhea County Tennessee.

Adult birds (including pullets) can be shipped singly. Meyer hatchery, and the others mentioned, all provide this service. Each hatchery has a decent selection of started pullets. It appears some need to be ordered in advance, some are ready to ship.
