I say to the little ones: "Buh buhs!!!" "Come on Buh Buhs!" "Goood buh buhs!" (my version of baby for chickens).

To the grown up chickens: "Gurdys!! Goooood Gurdy!!!!"

And for treats: "Treeee - eeeets!!" "Come get yer treeee- eeeets!"

I go out into the yard and yell "here peep peep peep peep peep" and they all come running to get their treats.

I just take a can of treats with me every time and start saying it and they'll figure out that that means treats and come running.

I just LOVE sneaking out to the run when they're all inside and calling "Giiiirrrls" in a really goofy voice. There is loud thumping and squawking and they come shooting out the pop door like they've been shot out of a cannon. Funniest thing you've ever seen! They know I'm going to give them treats every day. Usually BOSS, sometimes some scratch. Today I had a leftover oatmeal/raisin/cranberry cookie. Now THAT was a hit!
