Curious newbie on Long Island

Glad you are here. I have various bantam breeds and they are a joy to have. Some of them lay relatively good sized eggs too.

welcome to byc from a hot sunny south africa! i would definatley suggest silkies they
do not scratch up the garden the way some other breeds do, and seeing you enjoy organic gardening some snail eating machines would be handy. i run a plant nursery and never use snail poisions. i dont have to!
