Curious, pullets or roos?

How old is she?
I think it’s a pullet
Is she a Dominic?

🤔 I think pullet too
How old?

All are barnyard mixes and 6 weeks 5 days old.

I thought the speckled one was surely a cockerel as it had a huge comb at 2 weeks! Turns out you never really truly know until the lay an egg or crow 🤷 hahaha

Wow I see what you mean by comb sizes as a baby but barnyard chicks are hard to sex till the end 😂
But it looks female as it got older. Soon you’ll know

Update! They will be 8 weeks on December 12th.

Would love more guesses! Thank you!

It's absolutely crazy to see the back and forth of their development. The more I watch them mature the more I am accepting just how difficult it really is to sex before an egg or a crow!! We found someone to process our males so I really hope we can tell a bit more certain in the next 10 days. Otherwise we may have to cancel and hope they are available in January.

Just an update for anyone who was following or helping me guess. The little gray with crest was the only pullet. All others are believe to be roosters. They have about one week left to prove us wrong, otherwise we will be enjoying some tasty chicken dinners and chicken bone broth very soon😁

Thanks for all the guesses! I've learned so much about sexing chickens that I should not be a bother again. Hahaha

Now breeds? That's the next lesson😜

I have a couple from trying to sex them.

First set are the white ones
Second are the gray
We couldn't catch the speckled one. His personality is all rooster so....lol

Thanks again everyone! I had a lot of fun guessing and learning!
