Curious...she is always late to come in

They really are quite stunning :)

I had a better looking rooster, but I lost him in a cockfight.:hit

If they are 'game' birds, isn't it unusual to have them so friendly and hanging around the house?
I hear Aseels and many of the more game-like breeds are very intelligent and friendly, and that hens of those breeds often make good mamas. I don't know from personal experience, but I've seen several posts on BYC to that effect.

I have no idea if this will help, but will only cost you $1 to find out. I have a related post on here now to see if anyone has any ideas. My chicken's run and coop are in heavy shade at all times. So dusk, i. e. roosting time can come pretty early, especially on cloudy days. Of course the coop, which only has two small windows for ventilation, is even darker than the surrounding run. I noticed on particularly dreary dark days, the chickens would only roost at or after complete darkness. On a whim I purchased a battery powered closet light at Dollar Tree. When I decide it's late enough for the chickens to roost, I simply turn on the light inside the coop. It's not very bright, but it makes the coop lighter than the surrounding run. On days I do this, the chickens almost immediately go inside the coop to roost. I figured they were just afraid of the dark, and won't go from a more lighted area into a less lighted area. Just guessing, but it worked for me. If I have other plans near roosting time, I simply go out a few minutes early and turn the light on. Instantly on the roost and safely closed away for the night. Maybe she's scared of the dark, too. Try it, it's a small investment.
