Curled Flight Feathers

Guineas are creatures of habit, they like routine and learn quickly by repetition and example. They will most likely do as your chickens do... especially once they make the connection that it means to go get their yummies. It'll become an automatic reflex for them to run to the coop if they hear you say that and see other birds running that direction.

Oh that's good to hear

I'm so glad you decided to respond to my original question. I am finding myself opening guinea threads and scanning for the purple font.

As of today, all flight feathers are straight as can be. Seems like it corrected itself like you figured it would, PeepsCA. Thanks for you input on the whole thing. I upped their protein levels by modifying the goats milk to Kefir and adding additional meat proteins in the way or meal worms and such. They've been growing like crazy and seem quite happy, even surrounded by a bunch of upstart chicks....matter of fact, three of them lets the chicks get under their wings....At night, I'll see three of them over there with chicks snug under their wings and one of the Keets sitting out on the feed area (a raised platform) keeping an eye on things. Seems like they've taken in the chicks as part of their "flock". Just hope it stays so amenable as time goes by.
