So my mom hatched some chicks in our incubator that the mother hen had abandoned, one of them hatched about 3 days ago but its extremely small and one of its legs is curled up to its chest so it cant walk and can barely eat or drink. She put a splayed leg splint thing on it to hopefully bring its leg down but its been 2 days and it hasnt moved much. Is there anything else we can try to do?

Have you seen this article by @TwoCrows? As the article explains, the condition could be due to a riboflavin deficiency, so supplementation may help, along with chick "shoes" to straighten out the toes (see article for illustration and description).

Can you get Poly-Vi-Sol without iron for your chick? I normally use Poultry Nutri-Drench as a supplement, but it doesn't appear to contain riboflavin.

Best of luck!
