Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Now, along the movie reviews, has anyone else got a movie-memory
they would like to tell about?

Spook....

I have several from the old drive-in movie, but I am reluctant to share them.

Saw 2 Guns the other day--good flick, but there is a disturbing chicken scene (you've been warned LOL)

Spook--great stories about Harry, thank you for sharing.

Went to see RED II the other day.. Thumbs up

hah they are so ridiculously cliche that its funny.

"Still Mine" the true story of a man's love and his righteous battle with small town bureaucracy. I laughed, became angry, teared up and cheered. I had no idea that James Cromwell was such a compelling actor. I'm of an age and era that I understood this man.

Hey guys, the movie memories are quite welcome here. Sour I do think you could share yours, we are adults here. Leave some blanks if you must, we can fill them in.

"Still Mine," is another on my list that I doubt will ever show up here. My "waiting" for video rental list is growing by leaps and bounds.

I -saw "Elysium" last Friday. Lots of action, some very graphic injury scenes, NOT child friendly or for 66yr.old gray mares either. I had to keep looking away -

. Show was about half filled with young men and aside from me one blond older lady down in front. The guys were silent - I think not impressed with the movie. I love Matt Damon but, they just jammed immigration issues down the throat for the whole time. No balance either in pro or con. I can get that on any news show or newspaper, I go to a movie to escape and be entertained. I wasn't a happy camper.

Last Sunday my brother and I, ventured off to see" Percy Jackson and the Sea Monsters "(or title close to that). We had seen the first Percy Jackson movie (Lightning Thief) and enjoyed it very much.

This one wasn't quite as good but, still entertaining and light spirited. After the weight of Elysium - this was a joy. Some scary scenes for very young children but, otherwise safe for kids and old squeamish women(me for example).
