Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

When I watch movies that are made from books, I know that there are usually going to be at least some changes from the books, so I don't get disappointed just because they don't exactly follow the books. I try to judge each movie on its own merits (good plot, good acting, enjoyable, etc.) as though I had not read the book.
I'm the opposite--why The Maze Runner movies disappointed me

My son was so upset with what they did to Eragon, He still gets angry when someone mentions it.
The movie? I thought the movie was good when it came out. I didn't read the book though. I tried, but it seemed really boring...I know other people complained about that too

We've seen all the rest of the Hunger Games movies, so that's definitely one on our "plan to see" list.

I've only seen the first. I feel like I need to catch up in the middle before I see this one. I didn't think I was going to like it, but I just happened to catch it on cable while on bed rest after ankle surgery. I thought it was great.

The second one is my favorite movie. I'm sure you'll like it :)
