Anyone plan on seeing the new 'Peanuts' movie?
I hope they didn't ruin it like most classic cartoons have been IMO. We can't even let the kids watch the newest Looney Tunes. It's crap.

Ooh! Those are all awesome choices! Idris is at the top of my list but Henry Cavill would be awesome, too. Don't know why I didn't think of him before. I think Tom Hardy would be my second choice, though. Damien Lewis, I guess I could see it. I'd have to pay better attention to him. No offense to the redhead dudes(i'm married to one, so...), he'd have to be an awfully super hot one to play James Bond. Strictly my opinion. But, as a boy crazy girl who has a thing for redheads, not all are created equal, IMO. They're either real hot, or they look like Carrot Top. Not suitable to play Bond. That's obviously only based on looks, so I need to start paying attention to all on that list and see what I think.

They  claim they don't want Idris because he is too "streetwise,"  which probably means the wrong color.  I think he is great and also Chiwetel  (if I spelled that right). I don't care if they are pink, blue, spotted , striped  they should pick   Good looking  men  who can  ACT.

Agreed. Somebody did say "too Street" but from what I understand, it wasn't intended to be in regards to his color, but I don't know. I DO know, that when they said it, my interpretation was they meant to hard edged, gritty & just that, street. Not refined enough for the image of Bond. Likely because of his role on The Wire. Regardless of what their intention was, I'm ALL OVER IT!! LOL
I see no reason a man can't be gritty and still be super suave at the same time.I definitely think he has the acting chops to pull it of quite well. And speakng of his hotness, I also heard he's to play Shere Kahn in the Jungle Book. I think that's gonna be pretty cool.

Ya know, I hadn't seen the show either until last season. I saw the last half of it and was kicking myself for not watching from the beginning. I plan to back track and binge watch it when I get a chance so I can catch up and follow along. It's pretty good.

Most likely if Damien Lewis plays Bond, they'll dye his hair.

You think so? I think he could pull it of with his normal look. He's not a Carrot Top. LOL
I remember being annoyed at first about Daniel Craig being chosen, My first reaction was "James Bond cannot be blonde. That won't work.". Within the first 3 minutes of Casino Royale, I realized that was a bit predjudiced and he turned out to be my second favorite behind Connery. I'm still rooting for Idris, though. I guess we wait and see, huh? I can't wait tonsee who's chosen.
