A local theater here does $6 shows on Tue. They also have some $2.50 concessions specials too. I had considered that also. even that's pushing it for us now. Sadly. When it rains, it pours. LOL
Too many major home repairs popped up on us all at the same time. The pressure's on.

I'm close to running out on my gift card for AMC. But I hopefully will make it thru Mockingjay part 2.

Giving movie theater gift cards to each other for Christmas presents has become a staple among our family and relatives so after Christmas, we should be well set up for January releases. )

That's the truth. In the interim though, I think about what I could have done with the $ IF I didn't get a gift card. Like having a cake, and wanting to eat it - also.

I just turned the TV on and Oceans 13 is on. Seeing Casey Affleck reminded me of discussing my distaste for him and his bro, but then it reminded me of another movie I saw a while back that he was in. I really liked it. Would definitely watch it again. Rooney Mara was in it as well as Keith Carradine. It's called Ain't Them Bodies Saints. Anyone else see it?

What a great idea. I always put itunes and gas station GCs in the stocking. Don't know why theater cards didn't ever occur to me!

It's been years since I've been to the movies. Kind of wanted to see the Witch Hunter movie, but I can't get up the motivation to drive an hour to get to the theater, sit there for two hours and then have an hour drive to get home, a movie would have to be awesome for me to want to do that. Lol!
