Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Just saw The Grinch last night. Not the old version. Not the jim carrey version (which I loved btw so I might be a little biased). The new animated one. It had the absolute WORST interpretation of "You're a mean one, mr. Grinch" I have ever heard. It almost made me shut it off and this was only 5 minutes or so in. Later they played the one christmas song that I can not stand: "is that you, santa claus?". The plot had a good message for children and overall very family oriented. The animation was great. I felt though that there was a lot of focus on characters other than the Grinch which kind of impeded on the movies over all theme. All in all it did not appeal to me but was a nice movie. I didnt hate it but didnt love it.

Thanks!

I almost watched that one last week. Maybe I will watch it soon now

I want to see End Game too. Wow! I had no idea it was 3+ hours long.
They should bring intermissions back imo if they're going to continue to make such long films. I hate sitting that long. Thats why we never go to the show and just rent them. Popcorn is cheaper too :pop

We go to the first showing of the day - usually they are selling popcorn leftover from night before :tongue not falling for that again.

Movie card is just a gift card (you pay for a certain amount) you can use as cash.
Check the theaters policy then on outside food. They usually allow it if its something they sell there. I used to sneak it in until I found out I didnt have to. Made me feel kinda silly thinking I was getting away with something. Although people do look at you funny when you open a can of soda.

Well got a new movie card- just looking for something good to spend it on. Definitely will go see End Game even tho it is allegedly 3+ hrs. long.

Already got my tickets for Endgame, too, on the 28th. I probably won't get any popcorn tho :p
