Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Personally, I was very disappointed. The trailers implied something that wasn't true, that she had some sort of special powers. She didn't. She was just a rebel and able to control her fears. I kept waiting for something to happen to jazz it up and nothing did. It just was a real letdown for both me and my husband.

My husband saw Ender's Game, also said it was a disappointment to him. And he's a real movie buff that it takes a real clunker to turn him off.

Of course, I'm not much of a movie buff in general. I can go forever without watching one because more often than not, I'm disappointed.
I thought Divergent was AMAZING. Remember, it is based on a book and it followed the book extremely closely. I thought it was incredible. I'm going to see it multiple times.

I loved Captain Phillips, but did not care for Noah. My sister in law got sea sick from Captain Phillips, lol!

I saw Divergent last Friday and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was outstanding! I read the book and it does follow the book very closely but of course there are some changes here and there. Go see it if you haven't yet!

I also saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier on Saturday. I was absolutely blown away by how good it was! It had a very good plot and the whole thing was just awesome! Probably even better than Divergent.
I an anxiously waiting for these movies to come out on DVD.

Thank you to Ducky Gurl, b.hromada, and Chicken Peep for your reviews and comments. It really gets exciting when more people chime in. I'd love like to get pros and cons for all the Movies,
so people can decide if a movie fits their tastes or not.

Hope you all will continue to contribute - that's what makes BYC special.

By the way' "Princess and the Pea" was part of what led to her nickname. Other recent parts that she has played are Ouizer in "Steel Magnolias" (two different productions) and Ethel Thayer in "On Golden Pond".

I wish I could get to see her performance. I've only seen a couple of plays in my life but, I really enjoyed live action and the close-up experience.

Stop hiding your better half Sour.
