Watching Ender's Game right now.

I really like Ender's Game (both the movie and the book which I read years ago). We saw Ender's Game at the movie theater and then re-watched it a few days ago.

I never read the book but, loved Ender's Game when it was at the movies. My son thought the book was much better, The ending just blew me a, like Ender I was devastated by what had transpired. I never saw it coming.

Boy, did I hate Harrison Ford. Of course I had disowned him years before when he dumped his wife and latched on to a younger edition.

Yes, Harrison played such a manipulative character. He made my skin crawl, but the role was perfect.

I forgot to add Man of Steel to my list the other day, it was okay. I prefer the Marvel Universe to DC but it was interesting.

I saw The Monuments Men and 47 Ronin last night. Big

for both.

I just watched the movie Belle about an 18th century woman who grew up privileged but faced many obstacles because she was black. Based on a true story and very well done. Highly recommend watching it.

I have to add: 12 Years A Slave broke me. I have tears welling up now as I type this, I have no idea how anyone can treat another human with such indignities. Brad Pitts character was a hero. How Mr. Northup endured all he did is astounding.


Philomena- this was very personal to me. It was hard to watch as I struggle with my story as well. Very highly recommend.
