Today we saw 'Vicki and the Flash". I'll give it a 3 on our scale. Pretty good entertainment with the very talented Meryl Streep. Of course I may be prejudiced. I've had a 'thing' for her ever since :"Sophie's choice" and "The French Lieutenant's Woman". My favorite actress for sure ----------- well, after the Princess that is.
 
That's funny, I hated her in Sophie's Choice, well actually I disliked the entire movie.

I did love her in "Julia & Julie "(think was the title), She played Julia Child and she WAS Julia Child. And Stanley Tucci was her husband and he was great too!
 
Anyone planning on going to see The Man From Uncle this weekend? I see it's getting 98% fresh from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes.
 
I'm not planning on it - just because I don't "know" the actors . I think David McCallum was the best possible choice for Illia Kuriakin- I'm sure I murdered those spellings.

I never did like Robert Vaughn.
 
I've been watching more Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and it has gotten a lot better. A lot of the first episodes seemed random and irrelevant, but they seem to be more connected and keeps you guessing. Finally, Marvel has done a show that isn't extremely predictable!!
 
Has anybody seen Jurassic World? I saw it in theaters and it was amazing! The CGI was great and it was very entertaining.

We saw it and thought it was very entertaining. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the movie, but I loved the way the Indominus Rex was defeated at the end.
