Thanks Sour, I was wondering what " The 33 " was about. I remember the tv coverage now - horrible situation for the miners involved and their families.

Today we saw "The 33" the story of the Chilean miners trapped underground for 69 days. It was an interesting story and time and money well spent - 3 stars and a good recommendation on this one.

I love true survival stories so thanks for the review - I will be seeing this one.

Does "The 33" make you feel claustrophobic?

I watched "The Descent" and decided I was never going spelunking nor into any cave as it was uncomfortable just watching cave access, let alone the rest of the movie. Pity that as I understand Carlsbad Caverns are kind of neat (and they're somewhat local)

Not me, but it bothered the Princess. In 'real time' the conditions in under which they worked and were trapped would have made me extremely claustrophobic.

Oh, I feel you! Totally. Very claustrophobic so I can't handle it. Wish I wasn't because I expected to be hearing good things about it. I remember following the story closely at the time and thinking how brave they all were.

Anyone watch the 'Starving Games' spoof movie, it's on Netflix? I haven't seen it yet. Any good?

I attempted it, and if it had been more subtle it might have been alright, but it wasn't worth the time.
