Did anyone else watch The X-Files tonight?

Sad to say, I never watched it the first time around.

Peep show - loved both of your reviews. My sister & her daughter live in NM and she always tells me when something was filmed there. The old downtown area of my village was often used for the old cowboy movies - probably because it had so many saloons.

The State of New Mexico has really courted Hollywood to become a filming locale. It's always fun to spot the locations, even though a lot of the times they rename it some other state.

If you ever saw the movie "The Lake House," with Keanu Reeves, that was filmed in the Maple Lake forest preserve area near us. I didn't even recognize it - but, I read about it.

Also the movie "Source Code," was filmed partly in the suburban area out here. Never recognized that either. My brother kept poking me to say "that's the so and so building."

There's a horror/thriller movie being filmed at a house in the Village right now. I know this because a friend lives across the street from it and the neighborhood got notification postings about the fact that there was going to be A LOT of screaming going on, so not to be alarmed.

Ah. It's a pretty good show.

During the storm we had no cable so we watched a bunch of videos. Among them was "Hachi" the story of Hachiko the Japanese dog who waited at a train station for his owner (who had died of a heart attack) to return. I cried.

Neglected to add that the loyalty of this Akita lasted 10 years after his owner's death.

Ah Sour, I'm sure I would have done the same. When ever there is a dog in a movie, I know I'll end up crying.
