Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Today we finally saw "The Jungle Book" - it's as good as all of you have said, but you have to admit that Sher Khan had a point.

My sister and niece are in from NM, my son from WA. so my brother and I took them to see "Captain America: Civil War - so 5 tickets, 5 Voting - 5 - 4 star ratings out of 4. I liked it even better the second time because I made a point of paying more attention to things I missed the first time. Love this movie, especially" Bucky Barnes."

Has anyone had any feedback on XMen Apocalypse? The reviewer on the morning Today show said it was a mess, but IMDb has it at 7-ish/10. I'll probably see it anyway, but I'd like to go in thinking it's going to be good..... :(

I was dismayed at the rotten tomatoes score for that movie also. I planned to see it Labor Day weekend. Hope it is worth seeing. My brother saw the last one with me and even though he didn't know anything about X-men, he really enjoyed it. I don't want him to get sour on the franchise.

I thought X-Men 3 was a stinker, but then they came back with First Class, so the odd dud here and there doesn't put me off. Nonetheless, I don't really look forward to many movies so when I hear bad reports before I've seen something, it takes the shine off going to the movie.

So bad wanted to see Angry Birds at the drive in tonight, Mother's Day was the second though, didn't look good to me, and very good chance for rain. . Next week Angry Birds again :-) and X-Men Apocalypse, hopefully no rain.
