Just got to see "Allegiant" last night...I saw "Divergent" and loved it. However, "Insurgent" was a major disappointment. "Allegiant was really cheesy, dumb, and confusing, until the last thirty minutes, where it actually interesting and there was finally some action. I'd give it 2 stars out of 5.

I've just read that the Divergent series will end with a TV movie finale and then go into a Divergent TV series.

Have any of you guys seem the hunger game films? I was never allowed to watch them, and then avoided them because they seemed violent. What do you think?

I thought the first one was the best. Got REALLY bored and annoyed when they divvied up the ending to stretch out theater revenue dollars, especially since the first part of the ending was all politics. DH informs me that Divergent series is doing the same.

As far as endless sequels, the Twilight series IMHO was done better as far as episode evenness.

Yes, there is violence. But I would classify Hunger Games as suspenseful and not gratuitously violent. (In other words, they are not splatterfests.)

I actually have seen those. I think they're really good. The second was probably my favorite.
There is violence, but it's not just constant hacking and fighting.
