Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

May I suggest popcorn if you aren't feeling like cooking? If you don't smother it in lots of salt and only use a little butter, it's actually quite healthy and you can do it in the microwave in 5 minutes.

That is true, somewhere I read it is good if you are on a diet (not that I am) for a snack.

Whoop Whoop I was looking at photos of people in a new movie(can't recall the name.) But one man looked terribly familiar. HIs name was Jason Isaacs. I googled him and Bingo he was Lucious Malfoy in Harry Potter, AND HAP in OA. He said he was just as bewildered by the show as the viewers. So parts of my brain are still working. He was born in Liverpool and in many, many movies. Isn't it funny that after you see someone playing a part, you remember them from other places?

I do that all the time, I remember faces from way back but never names. Always saying to my son isn't 'so and so' when we watch a movie - he has selective hearing now, I drive him nuts.
Watching that Diet thing, I was sure the daughter had something to do with Sigourney Weaver she sounded so like her, maybe I should go and find out if she is. I simply hate it when people come up to you in the street and say 'hey how are you', I know their face but for the life of me can't remember their name. Getting older by the day.

There was chat about moving an elephant somewhere, did you ever watch that movie 'Dumbo drop' where they rescued an elephant in the Vietnam War. Kids stuff but quite fun.

Sat up watcing 'Groundhogs' with John Travolta last night, abosolutely rolling on the floor, slipped off the chair and couldn't back up lol very funny

We South Africans are such a disappointment as a race - they 'Fixed' my fence, and it went off continually so had to turn it off. So did a shot gun watch again last night.

Anyway DDay for SIL so many xanax later I am quite calm - Have a wonderful day DD

@drumstick diva OMG you are so right, just had to pluck up courage to watch an episode that wasn't weird - I didn't pick that up at all, well done

Just back from seeing John Wick2 with Keanu Reeves. I really like Keanu and loved the Matrix Trilogy. John Wick had plenty of car chases, kung fu or whatever hand to hand combat. But there are only so many times you can watch someone taking a bullet in the head or face & all contents spilling out, before it gets boring. Despite that my brother rated it a 3 (out of 4)- I think I would give it 2.5 just for nostalgia sake. Small part for Laurence Fishbourne - I read it's the first time they have been together in a movie since the third Matrix.

Read that JW3 is in the making. I know Keanu says he never does more than 3 - just like with Matrix.

PS there was an uncredited pit bull in the movie and I can promise he wasn't tortured to perform. He did nothing, just not an actor at all. When Keanu left him somewhere he didn't look upset, and when he came back - the dog didn't register any feeling. I have no idea why he was in the movie at all.
