Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Well I figure they left , I think 3 , so maybe the dufus from the lab will still be conducting tests and such.
I don't know, at some point they'd have to try to explain some things, and I don't think they can explain them. Anyway, I enjoyed the show, I thought it was good.

The actor who plays the blonde doctor is very versatile. I saw her in something and she had a broad Irish accent. Then she was in Episodes and she was American, then in this she's Australian. I think she's Irish in real life, but she attended NIDA here, so she's a sort of "honorary aussie". I'm not sure what her real-life accent is, how "Irish" it really is.

The sergeant (the one from out of town who had the car accident) actor (Andrew McFarlane) used to be in this TV Series called "The Sullivans" (it was set in the 1920s or something, up to WWII). He's also been "in everything". He is on Play School (it's a long-running kid's show for little kids, the presenters sing songs and do dances and dress up and play with toys, it's like a kindergarten show). He usually plays "nice blokes" and seems like a nice bloke in real life. Not in this role.... He makes a really good "not-so-nice-bloke", it's good to see an actor in another guise.

Today we saw "3 Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri. It's rough, foul language, characters developed almost to the point of caricatures, but I loved it. So did the Princess. If you liked Frances Mcdormand in "Fargo" you will really like this film. It's the best we have seen in a while.

I wanted to see it today ,my brother not so much. I wish they would make better titles.
When people can't tell what's it about by the title, I think they ignore. I try to read up on them first. It sounded good to me and I know that Woody can handle any type of character.

Sure miss the days (about 12 years ago. when I still walked the 11 miles to the show & back in all sorts of weather - but, NOT in the dark.

THE EMOJI MOVIE(PG) thumbs DOWN
I have plenty of things to say about this movie. First of all, I think the 9% rotten tomatoes and 30% liked this film, shows you the quality we're dealing with. Just think about it. The people that did something in the emoji movie's lives have either led up to starring in or producing this movie. Anyway, all joking aside. This movie was awful, the jokes were lazy, The world made no sense (Unfortunately I know to think about the emoji movie fact that emojis reproduce) and it was basically 86 minutes of commercial. So yes, this movie was awful

THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE (PG) thumbs UP
Sweet and funny. It wasn't true to the show, which my 7-year old brother was not happy about. A good movie, although the lego movie was better.
