Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Going to see "First Man," with Ryan Goslings. Great, versatile actor, this time playing the first man on the moon. Due to the fact that China helped pay for the production, he will NOT place a flag on the moon for the USA. You do see the flag later. I wonder if the POTUS knows that. Some folks are so p.o'ed by it they said they will boycott movie.

WE just got back from First Man and lunch- my brother gives it 3.5, I give it 4 stars. Also cried a few tears. Not a full house but, no protesters either. Long movie, my brother fell asleep a few times. Really think he is just resting his eye(s) he is legally blind in one thanks to a lousy retinologist that screwed that up.

Thanks for the review!

Just rented I Feel Pretty from the library. I watched an hour and 45 minutes of a comedy movie with NO comedy. The only thing that saddens me though is i will never get that time back to put in or rent a decent film. Its Shallow Hal in reverse but not funny. It had a good message about loving yourself but you had to sit through too much to get there.
