Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

I see quite a few movies a year, while critic's reviews are okay I prefer the opinions of friends/family. This thread is not meant to be a critique but, a poster's personal opinion. PLEASE do not include spoilers and definitely no pornographic films. I think we will be fine if we just start with titles and ratings if known ie., PG, PG-13. R etc.

SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK (R) big thumbs UP
Excellent performances and cast. Saw it twice.

SIDE EFFECTS (R) thumbs UP
ditto.
Saw it twice.

WARM BODIES (PG-13) thumbs UP
Funny, sweet, NOT your usual zombie movie.
Hope to see it again - I smiled all the way home.

You are welcome to offer your opinions on these movies IF you have seen them, and please list any other movies.
Thank you. I know I'm a bit late in finding this thread but this is very much appreciated :) . Thank you

Being in UK, we don't have the same choices.

On Netflix several months ago I found a series that really gripped me, it was called "The Code".

In brief...
Two brothers Ned and Jesse Banks, who were based in Canberra

One brother being a reporter who tried his best to take care of his brother who had aspergers, but his brother being top notch with computers and hacking led them both into many trouble's .

It oozes action and was the most gripping series I have seen in years

"The Courier"

If you enjoyed Tom Hanks' "The Bridge of Spies" then you'll enjoy Benedict Cumberbatch in "The Courier." Same feel of panicked espionage that could tragically go wrong, but this time in Moscow during the era of The Bay of Pigs (ca 1961). A true-life spy thriller. Excellent acting.

Directed by Dominic Cooke (On Chesil Beach), runs 1 hour 52 minutes, PG-13. Out on Redbox now.
"The Courier", sounds like my sort of film. ;)

Thanks for the review!

Here we can watch both seasons on acorn tv. Season 1 on netflix or purchase the show on Amazon Prime

I watched Army of the Dead a few weeks ago. I thought it was funny, different and very entertaining.

I've heard other reviews that suggest there were some plot holes, but for me, I'm just watching a movie to be entertained and this movie did that for me!

It's got over the top gore (like 10x blood splatter than what's needed LOL!), adult themes/language but it's a zombie movie!

Would watch again.
