Amethyst tried to fall faster, attempting to reach the ground so that people would see her and help her. Of course, opening her leathery wings created a parachute and she immediately was flung upward, banging into her attacker.

(If it weren't for Thanos [Marvel], Steppenwolf [DC], and Apollyon from "The Pilgrim's Progress" [an animated movie], I would have the dumbest villain ever. I learned my lessons from them.)

Onyx, still upset with herself, kept her distance for Mao.

The guards checked with Vixen, who was feeling very much overwhelmed by all the people who had been seeking an audience with her today. She told Zephyr that she could either wait outside or if she would like she could go home, her choice. then she headed to the main meeting room to wait for Onyx.

“I’ll stay here and wait for you,” Zephyr said. “In case you would like me to help with anything else pertaining to your mission? If you don’t need help, I’ll go. It’s about dark anyway.”

Onyx was admitted into the castle. She walked up a flight of stairs, accompanied by Mao and a gaurd, and entered the room that Voxen was waiting for her in. “Terribly sorry if I’m interrupting you, honorable Monarche,” she said, bowing her head toward Vixen. “But I was wondering if you need help with task of preparing volunteer pupa for their mission. I am here to offer my services. I am sorry if I came off as a stalker at first-“ she hesitated. “I have a… habit of keeping my ears everywhere.” She suddenly thought about something. “In fact, I may be able to use my knowledge to acquire volunteers?” She bowed again. “That is- if you’ll accept me.”
