"Yes, Flint?" Apollyon sounded a touch annoyed, but that wasn't unusual.
"Azira and I are almost to Mount Ascension in Aerattl. I have a plan to successfully complete your order of attack, but the fog banks are thick and it would hinder the attempt greatly. Ought we to wait for your business at Solosis to complete or shall we go forward in spite of the low visibility?"
"Order of attack? What in the name of Igneous are you DOING? I gave NO SUCH order!" Apollyon growled, perplexed and wondering. It wasn't like Flint to take matters into his own hands so brashly like this.
"But master, Onyx told me that-"
"Onyx??" He snarled. "And since when do you answer to ONYX? You receive your orders, directly from me, and NO OTHER!" He roared.
What had possessed Onyx? He had been suspicioning her for a while now. When he came back to Mount Nassir she would give an account for this.
Flint hardly dared to look up. "What are your orders, my Lord?" he asked quietly.
"Return to Solosis and smash this band of rebels." Apollyon regained his cool. "I will open a portal." And so he did. Flint, Azira and their forces streamed into the Great Cave and came out through the entrance where they saw Apollyon face-to-face.
