“Remember, your not just doing this at the risk of your lives,” Basalt said, “You’re doing it at the risk of our whole army. This requires bravery. Remember your friends and family back home. They depend on you to keep their home safe! If you wont fight for yourselves, or fight for me, then fight for them.” Basalt nodded. “Good luck.”

Enther grimaced inwardly. He didn’t like the thought of leading others to their doom, but maybe they’d all pull through. Either way it had to be done. The dragons all nodded in unison and headed out.

“Try to make it out alive.” Basalt said to Enther. “Remember, it’s just a distraction.”

Try just flying up toward the mountain, too close to the enemy side, maybe.

Enther smiled slightly. “Understood.” He called back. He left the army quickly, winging his way toward mount ascension faster then ever, the army would be spotted soon if they didn’t provide a distraction. The fifteen dragons followed, even the small dragon, who was surprisingly fast.

Enther and the group arrived at the base of the mountain an hour later, their wings tired but alert otherwise. The growth that covered the base was lush and perfect for hiding in. An old game trail led into the forest, but the trail had been used recently. A lot.
Talon marks pressed into the damp earth in all directions but generally up and through the brush, toward Areattl. “ This way, keep quiet and don’t get seen just yet.” Enther ordered and they followed. Some flew slowly and quietly, others ran swiftly through the undergrowth, but they all stopped when the smell of hundreds of fiery dragons was noticed. Enther turned to his dragons. “ any Solosis you see in there is most likely a clone of one of Apollyons inner ring members. Stay focused, Don’t think they’ll help out their kind. And if you hesitate….. you will be killed.” He stated. “ stay together and guard each other’s backs.” With that they stormed into the enemies camp…

The clones rallied to the defense. One of the commanding generals told Apollyon what was happening.

"Tell the troops to fall back and reform into one coherent group. We're finishing Aerattl." He said coldly. He pulled the Aerattl Watchstone out and clenched his fist around it. It glowed an amber-yellow color.
